There are so many things you can do to pamper yourself even while you’re asleep. And when we say overnight, we mean it literally!
Your body regenerates while you’re sleeping and a little bit of extra care can be truly beneficial. Most body treatments take some time to work and during the night you have plenty of it. What is also good is that you will lie still and won’t have to worry about ruining your treatment while doing some household chores.
Here is what you can do:
Take care of your face by applying a facial mask right before you go to bed. After you remove makeup and clean your face, use milk cream and lemon juice to make a mask. Mix 1 teaspoon of milk cream with ¼ teaspoon of lemon juice, apply a thin layer of it on your face and leave it overnight. Milk cream will moisturize your face, while lemon juice will whiten your skin and even out your complexion.
If you want to wake up without wrinkles under your eyes, do the following: take a few drops of vitamin E and mix it with olive oil, massage the mixture into the skin around your eyes and go to sleep. Your skin will absorb the mixture and look much better.
A very popular trick for long eyelashes and strong eyebrows is using castor oil. Castor oil penetrates into hair follicles and improves hair growth. Take the old mascara wand, clean it thoroughly and then dip it into castor oil. Brush your eyebrows and eyelashes with it every night and soon you will see the results.
If you are bothered by chapped lips, we have a trick that will cure you overnight. Every night before you go to sleep, don’t forget to exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush; using Vaseline may help you with it. Once you’re finished, apply a thin layer of honey which will moisturize your lips and help them regenerate faster.
The final step includes taking care of your hands and feet and the best time to do it is right before you go to bed. For soft hands, mix olive oil and brown sugar and scrub your hands with it. Once you remove dead, rough skin, apply a layer of hand cream and put on gloves. When it comes to your feet, the procedure is very similar. Scrub your feet and then massage them using warm olive oil or coconut oil. Put on cotton socks and go to sleep; you will be very happy in the morning!
