How to make sangria

The word “sangria” comes from the Spanish word “sangre” which means “blood“. Although coming from the territory of Spain and Portugal, Sangria has become a drink that is frequently consumed. For those who do not know, it is a fruity wine that decorate different kinds of fruit, which varies from region to region. There are two kinds of drinks, and it Sangria and Sangria Blanco, where in the first case is the fruit adds to black, and in the second case adds to white wine. When making sangria, you can give your imagination run wild, and here are some classic ways in which it can be prepared:

Prepare a bottle of red wine, rum, brandy, apricot, peach liqueur and lemon juice. In addition, you need a pint of orange juice and the same number of blueberry juice. Chop a pound of apples, oranges and pears and all this in a large bowl or jug. Over fruits put all alcoholic beverages and juices and add sugar to taste. Another way to prepare sangria is to cut the apples, melons and peaches, and grapes to clean of seeds. Thus prepared ingredients insert in a large bowl, sweeten with sugar and let stand for half an hour. Fruit then add the red wine, half a cup Amaretto liqueur and a glass of cold water. All this then you put it in the fridge and leave to stand overnight.

Sangria Bianco prepare so as to place the carafe chopped pear, orange, green apple, a little chopped pineapple and a slice of watermelon. In this you add two or three tablespoons of lemon juice and a bottle of white wine. When cool, sangria Bianco is finished and ready for consumption.

Another great recipe that gives you the option to choose between red and white wines, which does not require a lot of money, is the following: lemons and oranges slice into cubes, pour the wine of your choice so that the ratio of these two beverages ways 50-50. Sweeten to taste and mix with half a liter of pomegranate juice and a cup of juice. Add chopped fruit of your choice (orange, apple, lemon) and allow to cool. When sangria cold enough, add half a liter of mineral water and serve.
