When homemade lava cake meets homemade ice cream

If you have a sweet tooth and are craving for something rich with chocolate, yet simple to make, we advise you this perfect lava cake. In addition to the cake, you can also male your simple ice cream, and there you have it. Your own sinful little caloric bomb.

Lava Cake

Ingredients (sufficient for 6 cookies):

125g high quality dark chocolate with a higher percentage of cocoa (65-70%),

125 g butter

3 eggs,

75 g sugar,

65 g flour

Preparation:

Melt chocolate and butter on low heat.

You can immediately turn on and the oven to slowly heat

Wisk eggs and sugar (it is not necessary to separate the yolks from the egg whites), add the melted chocolate and butter, and at the end, add the flour.

Mix thoroughly all the ingredients in order to get fine mixture

Cover the muffin molds with butter and sprinkle with flour and pour the mixture almost to the top. If you do not have muffin molds, you can alternatively use coffee mugs or disposable aluminum cups.

Put the mixture in preheated oven and bake at 200C for exactly 12 minutes

The crust should get just crispy and inside of the lava cake should remain liquid. Wait a few minutes to cool down a bit and remove the lava cake from molds onto the plate.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream.

Homemade vanilla ice cream

 

Ingredients:

2 eggs

2 tablespoons sugar

1 vanilla sugar

1 pack of whipped cream

 

Preparation:

Whisk the egg whites, add sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks in the end. Carefully unite all the ingredients with gentle moves preferably with the wooden spoon.

Whip the cream and combine with the scrambled eggs. Once again, be gentle while uniting the ingredients, and leave in the fridge for few hours.

If you prefer some other flavors, feel free to add them into the ice cream.
