
Sinusitis is very common problem that usually manifests with severe headache, blocked nose and breathing difficulties. These irritating phenomena threaten the very quality of daily life by making the body jaded and tired. To return to normal, it is important to start treatment time in with a little help of these two natural products.
Horseradish
Horseradish is a well known medicine that our ancestors used for the treatment of colds and flu. The unsightly root of peppery flavor is rich in vitamins C and B, as well as potassium, iron and calcium, and acts as an antibiotic. It’s best known in the treatment of inflammation of the airways and is extremely efficient in case of sinusitis.
Inhalation and horseradish compress
Ingredients:
- ½ liter of vinegar
- 1 horseradish root
Preparation:
At half-liter jar put one grated horseradish root, and pour the vinegar over. Close the jar and leave at room temperature for three days, occasionally shaking the jar.
Use:
Use the mixture two days after the preparation by opening the lid, tilting it over the hole and inhaling the fumes for at least 3 minutes. Before going to bed, pour two tablespoons of mixture over the gauze and put it on the forehead. Repeat the process for at least six days.
Ginger
Ginger is the second known means to mitigate and prevent headaches. It is, in addition, anti-inflammatory and facilitates with the pain. It can be used in the form of a tincture, capsule or syrup.
Syrup against sinusitis
Ingredients:
- 50 g of ginger
- 20 g chicory
- cinnamon teaspoon
Preparation:
In a blender grind horseradish, ginger and chicory, and finally stir in the cinnamon. Mix well and place in a glass jar with an airtight lid. Keep the mixture at warm place for about ten days, occasionally shaking the jar, but do not open.
Use:
Take one teaspoon of the syrup on an empty stomach every morning.
