
Lip care is very important, especially during the winter when lips are constantly exposed to the winter and can become painful and sore. In winter period, lips tend to be dry, rough and sore. Lubricate them with the balm of natural ingredients. We present to you three recipe for excellent lip balm that will make your lips look more appealing and healthier
Lavender Lip Balm
Recipe
4 tablespoons oil (jojoba, almond or olive)
1 tablespoon beeswax
1 tablespoon honey
¼ tablespoons of vitamin E oil (or three capsules of vitamin E squeezed)
7 drops of lavender essential oil (or other)
1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)
1 tablespoon of natural color lipstick
Instructions
Heat the oil and wax and in a small bowl, on a very low heat, and stir until the wax has completely melted.
Take the mixture out from the heat and quickly add the essential oil, vitamin E, cocoa and lipstick.
Put the container into bowl with ice water, and continue to stir while adding the honey.
Rose and cocoa lip balm
Recipe
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 tablespoon grated cocoa butter
1 tablespoon of dried flowers (herbs)
¼ tablespoon of vitamin E oil
3 drops of rose essential oil
Instructions
At very low heat whisk coconut oil in a small bowl. When the oil is liquid, add the roses (or other dried flowers) and stir well. Put the mixture to stand at low heat for about an hour.
Drain this mixture into a bowl through gauze.
Wipe the initial bowl you used, put the oil and return the fire. Add cocoa butter and stir until melted. Remove from heat, add vitamin E and essential oil, and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a small bowl and place three hours of standing in one place.
Chocolate lip balm
Recipe
1 tablespoon grated wax
1/8 cup coconut oil
½ tablespoons of shea butter
½ tablespoons of cocoa butter
½ tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/8 tablespoons of vitamin E oil
3 drops of essential oil of mint
Instructions
Put shee butter and cocoa in a small bowl and add the coconut oil.
Place on a low heat for 20 minutes, with occasional stirring. Do not let the mixture reaches a temperature of over 175 °, because shea butter could become grainy.
Add beeswax and stir well. When the wax is completely melted, remove the mixture from heat and add the oil, honey, vitamin E and cocoa powder, with constant mixing. When all the ingredients blend into the mixture, put the balm in a tube or a metal bowl and leave it for the next three hours.
