Pomegranate is an extremely delicious fruit that is excellent antioxidant. It is rich in phosphorus, potassium, calcium and iron, and contains Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B and B6. Pomegranate is a very salutary because of its beneficial effects on the cardiovascular, nervous and skeletal system. Bearing in mind all that, and the fact that it is very delicious, one just cannot resist it.

We often struggle to eat the pomegranate, and sometimes give up just because we cannot reach the seeds from inside. But with a little help of this tutorial, I am sure that you will enjoy this salutary and delicious fruit.
Since it is a little messy work, and pomegranate is very difficult to wash off your clothes, I suggest you to put on an apron.

1. Take your pomegranate and cut it on the width. Be sure to do it like this, not to cut it by heights (by heights I imply cutting on the ends or buds of pomegranate).

2. Once you have cut the pomegranate in width, you can see the delicious seeds and see the fruit form some kind of flower. Gently try to loosen the seeds by spreading the pomegranate on all sides. Do this procedure slowly, so you do not tear the peel of pomegranate.

3. Take a plastic container, preferably little deeper, and a spoon, ideally wooden spoon. Take the half of pomegranate and place it in your palm so that the bark is facing you.

4. Now you can start with the process. Take the spoon and start pounding on the bark of pomegranate. Just pound, pound, pound and you will see all the seeds coming out. And that is it.

I am sure you cannot believe how simple it is. Now go and enjoy your healthy snack.
