DIY embellished shoes

We have to agree on one thing, all women love shoes, just some have reconciled with the fact that they cannot have them all. On the other hand there are those women who are sufficiently resourceful and creative, and can alone make anything they want. If you are one of those women, we bring you neat and simple tutorial on how to make embellished shoes.

You will need:

  • a pair of shoes,
  • 40-50 large and medium (10-15 mm) crystals in various forms
  • 30-40 small (3-6 mm) round crystals
  • stronger adhesive (E 6000)
  • tweezers
  • plastic container
  • toothpick
  • a pair of pliers with a flat surface (optional)

Step 1:

Squeeze some glue in a plastic container; take the bigger crystal (with tweezers) and dip the back side of the crystal in the adhesive.

Step 2:

Press the crystal in the center of the upper part of the shoe. Add in the same way larger crystals around the first that you set.

Step 3:

Gradually add the smaller crystals moving toward the bottom. Take a look of the overall impression and add small crystals to fill eventual gaps.

A word of advice: the smallest crystals need a small amount of adhesive, so it is easiest to apply the glue using toothpicks.

Step 4:

Repeat all the steps and on the other shoe.
