Last year the Microsoft has announced that we would soon be able to talk with people who speak another language and to understand them thanks to the translation in real time within its the Skype application.

This service was from the very beginning available only for a small number of people, but that has changed.

Skype currently supports the real time translation of the conversation in English, Spanish and Mandarin, and all that is needed is to start a conversation with someone and all content is transcribed and translated in real time. When a text message comes, Skype can translate those messages in 40 different languages.

As is the case with other applications for translation, not even this one is ideal, but still provides very welcome assistance to you, the kind of assistance that you could not count on before.
