
There are many ways you can take advantage of the versatility baking soda indoors and outdoors
Removing splinter
Mix half a teaspoon of baking soda with a little water until you get a thick paste. Apply the paste on the affected area so as to completely cover the splinter. Glue a patch over the applied paste and leave it on the skin for 24 hours. After this time, the splinter should be closer to the surface of the skin so that it can be removed without pain and problems.
Sunburn
Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with a cup of cold water, dip a clean cloth into the solution and apply to the skin. You will feel relieved and refreshed.
Natural Deodorant
If you want to avoid aluminum and parabens from conventional deodorants, simply mix a pinch of baking soda with water and place on the armpits. To relieve the painful muscles and make a great detox bath, add to your bath a cup of baking soda and a cup of ecological apple vinegar. If your body skin is too dry, add a little mixture of base oil of your choice with a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
Recovery for tired legs
When your feet need special refreshments, soak them in lukewarm bath with 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda. Later treat them with peeling made of soda and honey.
Eliminate the odors of shoes
Sprinkle the baking soda in the shoes and leave at least 15 minutes (or even better, during the night). Shake or brush the excess powder. The unpleasant smell will be neutralized.
